Some goals / dreams, you must work hard to accomplish.
Other goals / dreams, you must let "happen" to you.
Those seem to be harder.
But I suppose they're more beautiful when they're fulfilled.

I live in a world run in time,
yet God doesn't.
I get marooned in a moment
yet God sees the whole story.
He asks me to trust
in the midst of the moment
of not seeing the master plan.
that He knows and knows it full well.
I am governed by time
by moments
I am broken in the moments of my time.
He is the Governor of timing
of the whole picture
He makes me whole in the wholeness of His time.

I think God allows us to struggle sometimes to force us (so to speak) to depend upon and trust in Him...and Him alone.
Also, it forces us to learn contentment in all situations and to turn our eyes to Him. See my next post.

another thing that just struck me....not new, but connected...
Satan has a way of taking good things, twisting them, and making them idols...which leads to a lack of contentment.
For that we need to be on guard!
