Potter's Hand

I have these lyrics beside my bed and have been praying them each night before I go to sleep. It is a beautiful pray of adoration and of surrender....a prayer for direction within God's will.
May the words bless you as well!

Beautiful Lord, Wonderful Saviour
I know for sure, all of my days are
held in your hands,
crafted into your perfect plan.
You gently call
me into your presence
guiding me by Your Holy Spirit.
Teach me dear Lord
to live all of my life through Your eyes.
I'm captured by Your holy calling.
Set me apart,
I know you're drawing
me to Yourself.
Lead me Lord I pray

Chorus:
Take me, mould me,
use me, fill me
I give my life to the Potter's hand
Call me, guide me,
lead me, walk beside me
I give my life to the Potter's hand

Theresa,
Do you do a lot of reading? There are a lot of quotes from authors on your blog. I do like that song quite a lot.

Hi Anne!
Long time, no comments! ;)

Yes, I do try to do lots of reading. It keeps my mind stimulated and my spirit challenged.
Should I put less quotes on my blog? I guess I find so many neat things to share, but if it's unbalanced it would be good to know.

Loveyalots!

I would love to read more about your day to day activities, but I certainly don't mind reading quotes of stuff that you find interesting and would love to share. I guess I don't mind the boring old routine. Do you find it hard to post stuff that's appropriate? Do you ever have it that you want to post something, but then hold back, because you aren't sure about what a response might be?

No, no holding back. But I email different things to you than I blog because the blog has a pretty wide audience. ;) A blog is an interesting thing because in a way you need to ask "what is my intended audience / purpose" just like a paper.
I'll try to add more personal stuff. Thanks for the infobit.

Hello!
My first comment! Aren't you proud Anne??? :) :) :)
Right now I have Zekijah on my lap, and she's wide awake scoping out her surroundings. And it once again struck me as I read about the Potter's hand, how intricately God has created his creation, from the new forming buds on trees to the water cycle, to a newborn baby. Zekijah is so small yet so big at the same time. Inside she has a unique personality that will bloom more and more as she grows. She has gifts and talents special to her that I hope and pray are nurtured and praised. And the whole time, she has an awesome God guiding her and molding her, just as he does with all of us. I was talking to my mom the other day, telling her of some of my frustrations. I commented on the fact that sometimes I must get in the way of what God has planned for me. My mom responded: "Christy, God will have his way, he always does". How true - that he never stops working on us, in us, through us. The molding never stops.
Anyhoo, I'll stop now!
Love you Therese! And I love your thoughtfulness (and I love the quotes, I can never get enough of the quotes! :) )

Great to have you "join the club." Comments are not obligatory - don't feel that way - but its great hearing from you.
I'm burning the blueberry cookie candle right now that you guys sent. Mmmm.

Yes, I most recently heard the quoted song at a baptism - it was powerful.
Love you always!
