We've had a wonderful first seven weeks (time goes fast)!

Above science pictures: biome box projects, using careful observations and detailed descriptions, and making cell cookies to learn cell parts / functions.

Those cell cookies are a really big hit! Are you planning on doing them every year? It's good to post pictures, because I like them to get a good idea about what you do day to day.

Sheesh, feel bad I didn't blog a picture of you earlier! Yes, I need to post more pics: worth a thousand of my babbling words, right? ;)
Cell cookies: very effective teaching tool! Many things I don't do from year to year, but it's a keeper. I'll do them as long as they're effective and as long as I teach (who knows how long that will be!)
